St. Hyacinth Academy undertook a project to enhance its STEM Lab with flexible furniture and technology creating multiple learning spaces that promote peer-to-peer learning, hybrid instruction and remote collaboration.
The school opted for flexible, technology-rich layouts that include mobile interactive collaboration bundles for video conferencing, a mobile teacher workstation desk, and task chairs for flexible seating. ELB helped to enhance the school’s STEM curriculum with Boxlight’s MyStemKits STEM curriculum, accompanied by a 3D printer, MyBots and labdiscs.
A portable Lyrik microphone and Bluetooth speaker were also implemented to improve classroom audio and make learning more accessible beyond the classroom.
Overall, installing flexible furniture and adaptable technology will enable St. Hyacinth Academy to create dynamic and easily adjustable learning environments which cater to the changing and unique needs of its students and teachers.
